The Rise Above Board of Directors meeting was convened at 6:33pm on 11/3/2022
via ZOOM.

Those in attendance were Jeremy Dahlgren - President/Treasurer, Sheila L. Kalkbrenner -
Vice President, Christina Petito - Associate Board Member (Member at Large).

Agenda items:
- Refine and approve minutes from the July 9th meeting:
  - Discussed Fred's resignation, which was accepted by the remaining members
    in attendance.
    - Need to fill Secretary position.
    - Nominations / recommendations for new board members can be discussed in
      next meeting.
  - Approved the treasurer report presented on April 9th.
  - Recap from Main Street Cleanup even in May - successful event, Christina,
    Jeremy, and Lighthouse Talks attendees participated.
  - Activities updates:
    - AA - successful, positive feedback from Mark.
    - Lighthouse Talks - also successful and positive highlights from
      Christina.
    - Yoga - Cindy still holding weekly class.
    - Discussion group has started back up - first Tuesday of each month at
      the David A. Howe Library.
  - Discussed planning for the Balloon Rally weekend event, Saturday July 16th.
    - Jeremy and Christina to have mainstreet blocks reserved, see if others
      are interested in helping out.
* These minutes were approved by all.

- Treasurer's update: $1 deposited by Jeremy Dahlgren on 8/26, current balance
  is $706.00.
* Treasurer's report approved by all.

Events/Activities
- Recap Balloon Rally weekend event
  - Christina and Jeremy reported the book give away and the conversations at
    the Main Street Festival were a successful method of outreach for the
    discussion groups.
- Christina updates for Luminous Healing and Lighthouse Talks
  - Christina reports attendance fluctuates and the last meeting two people
    attended.  Business is slow and she is planning to relocate to improve
    income potential.
- Jeremy updates for discussion group and other current activities in building
  - Discussion group has selected a new book, meeting on Saturdays
  - AA Meetings hosted by Mark have had more attendance and good feedback

Board Members
- Fill Secretary position
  - Sheila as interim secretary this meeting.
- Discuss nominations/recommendations for new board members
  - Christina nominated, suggested Alexis as secretary

Planning/goals for going into 2023
- Holistic Wellness Activities
- Nutrition w/ Kathee S. (previous practitioner)
- Create bar codes for the book collection
- Outreach to other members (of the discussion group & practitioners) suggested
  to renew participation in facility development
