RISE ABOVE JUNE 2023 Minutes Meeting June 8, 2023
at 161 1/2 N. Main St. Wellsville.

March 2023 meeting minutes reviewed.
Jeremy motioned to accept the minutes; Stephen seconded the motion.

Treasurer's Report:
Current balance meeting prior $706.00.
2023 Budget Proposal - Revenues $4124.00 Contributed by Jeremy.
A note was made to add an item for joining the Chamber of Commerce for $75.00.
Jeremy offered to reimburse Anna for cleaning supplies, Anna mentioned new
mop head.
Room 4 was removed from the budget estimation.

Jeremy confirmed taxes were filed (990-N e-file) and completed in March 2023

2023 Activities:
- Anna has paperwork for Rise Above to have a vendor at the Wellsville 2023
  Balloon Rally sidewalk sale.
- Anna proposed splitting "Finding Gratitude" into 2 groups on separate days
  due to larger capacity and time schedules. Anna is also interested in
  starting another support group – Will give update later in Fall 2023.
- Rise Above welcomes new yoga teacher, Kelly Samolis teaching class on
  Thursdays 5-6:00pm.
- Alexis agreed to help with Balloon Rally vendor with Stephen
  (possibly Carol?) who will confirm closer towards the date. Jeremy and
  Alexis will be donating books to anyone interested. Alexis will be offering
  1-3 card pull tarot readings. Water bottles will be handed out per Jeremy's
  donation. Sheila mentioned bringing chalk to use on the sidewalk.
- Shiela confirmed she will make a new flyer for her creative wellness
  workshops.
- Anna mentions how flyers are getting more attention and will proceed to
  print more due to popularity.
- Emphasis pushed on needing to find ways to pay our practitioners. Everyone
  agreed to investigate funding programs, scholarships to help bring more
  practitioners to Rise Above.
- Everyone agreed to brainstorm new ideas for advertising donations.
- Idea to bring more services such as sound healing sessions, tarot readings,
  reiki practices - Alexis will be in contact with local practitioners to
  discuss possibly bringing their practices to Rise Above.

Other Announcements:
Alexis agrees to accept secretary position.
Christina agreed to continue remote counseling services through Rise Above.
